"Yalla habibi" Post-Men studios goes to Dubai.

Prelude:

I still remember the day very vividly; it was the 13th of September, a usual Monday morning. Like always I was sitting before my laptop sipping my black coffee, not knowing that this Monday was going to bring some good news. Exactly after 10 minutes, Subodh stormed into the office and called me loudly “Deepu, Pack your bags and get ready”.

As my colleague Sutanu kept smirking, thinking it to be Subodh being his usual overenthusiastic self, I just smiled and looked back at my laptop. Subodh now came close to my desk and shouted, “ Deepu, I am serious, pack your bags…We are going to Dubai”.

Wah! On hearing this, I completely froze as I couldn’t believe what I had just heard…. Post - Men were going to Dubai !

Dubai Love:

So, It was love at first sight for us in Dubai. From the moment we left the airport, Dubai was one big ‘Wow’ and It is no secret that Dubai is an incredibly hot city. Visitors who are not accustomed to the heat are likely to find that it is overwhelming and may even feel like they are trapped in their hotel rooms, unsure of where to go or what to do because the weather is so oppressive. Dubai is famous for its series of strange and novel attractions for visitors and residents alike. Interested in trying something new and potentially weird like us? You have come to the right place.

The Post-Men Project:

We Post Men Studios were invited by the ‘International Fund for Houbara Conservation’ the global leader in pre-emptive species conservation, is an organisation dedicated to the conservation of the Houbara bustard; an emblematic in Arab culture, which is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List to execute a Live Virtual Conference involving 25 speakers from all over the world in the span of 3 days who will  discuss various ways to conserve the Houbara breed and bring about Maximum sustainable Houbara population in the wild within a country’s carrying capacity of the eco-system. Our event was graced by various important dignitaries world-wide. Since Team Post-Men love pushing our envelope, we had a great time working on it.

Our Shoot Location:

We were very lucky to execute our project in a studio called the Garage Studio, Wait… let me clarify…the studio looked nothing like its name and it is definitely not one of your ordinary Mumbai chroma studio. If you ask me, it’s a creative hub for creative nomads (beginner or expert) who want to tap on their creative side or improve their capabilities, who can call the space their own and bring their creative side alive. Right from the staff to their respective technical assistance supported and helped us to execute the entire three-day continuous project. We Post-Men can’t be grateful enough.

Will be back soon, Dubai

It was tad emotional towards the end, though our project was a success, but we couldn’t stop thinking about the city, the supporting people, helpful clients and the over all experience. We are hoping to be back very soon.
